Meet the founder
A decade inside study abroad consultancy, and a student who made the journey himself. Pakistan, Australia, China: Aurelian is built on that experience.
Founder and lead consultant
Tufail Zaman
I have spent 10 years in study abroad consultancy: 6 years running my own consultancy company and 4 years before that, working in the industry while based in Australia. I am also a Griffith University graduate and a university lecturer in China. I started Aurelian so Pakistani students get straight answers from someone who has done the journey, not a sales pitch.

I was an international student
I completed my Master's at Griffith University in Brisbane, so I know the admission, funds, visa and settling-in steps from the student's side of the desk.
I live and teach in China
I teach in English at Chinese universities, so I see daily life for international students first hand. That matters for MBBS and scholarship decisions.

Guiding Pakistani students to MBBS in China, Chinese Master's and PhD scholarships, and study in the UK, Cyprus, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.

University lecturer and Foreign Lead Instructor
Teaching artificial intelligence, machine learning, Python and network engineering in English at Chinese universities, including a Sino-foreign cooperative programme.
- Own company
Six years leading a study abroad consultancy
Running a consultancy of my own: counselling families, preparing applications and visa files, and learning what makes a file strong.
- In Australia
Industry experience and the Professional Year
Four years working in study abroad consultancy while based in Australia, alongside professional work in business analysis and IT, and an ACS-accredited Professional Year.
- As a student
Griffith University and International Islamic University
Master's in Information Technology Management and Information Systems at Griffith, after a Software Engineering degree in Islamabad. Captain of the Griffith University Cricket Club.

- We tell you your real chances. We never guarantee admission, a scholarship or a visa.
- We tell you when a university is not accepting applications from Pakistan, or when we could not confirm a fact.
- We keep your documents consistent and complete, because that is what visa officers look at first.
